We are a family run business operating from the heart of Sydney, Australia. We set out on a mission to provide the world with great tasting varieties of Australian honey. Australia’s unique landscape opens the door to countless flavours and varieties of honey, each with its unique taste and benefits.
THE PROCESS
Sunhighlands sources its Manuka Honey from North East NSW. We make sure to preserve all the goodness of our natural honey. Because the honey is unprocessed, it may retain some natural elements, such as propolis, wax and pollen. To retain live enzymes and nutrients, we also ensure that our honey is extracted at a low temperature. The properties of honey are beneficial for health and wellbeing. We want to thank the hardworking staff and beekeepers who have provided our consumers with great tasting Australian Honey.
MANUKA HONEY
Sourced from Australian Leptospermum plants containing natural levels of Methylglyoxal (MGO). Manuka honey is scientifically proven to have vast health benefits, through both ingestion and topical application. Our honey is harvested from the pristine coastal areas surrounding Byron Bay on Australia’s East Coast. Sunhighlands ensures no use of sugar feeding, antibiotics or veterinary pharmaceuticals. We independently laboratory test for an accurate MGO rating.
